Colombian appeals court strikes down ex-President Uribe’s conviction
A court has acquitted former Colombian President Alvaro Uribe, on charges of bribery and witness tampering.
He was released just weeks into a 12-year house arrest sentence, that was handed down in August.
Uribe has always denied any wrongdoing.
