Supporters of former French president Nicolas Sarkozy gathered outside his house as he prepared to go to jail on Tuesday (October 21), singing the national anthem and calling the sentence an injustice.
The former conservative president, 70, left his home for Paris’ La Sante prison, to shouts of “Nicolas, Nicolas”.
