EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas strongly defended the bloc’s approach to the Ukraine crisis, pushing back against claims the EU was “sabotaging” peace efforts at a Luxembourg foreign ministers’ summit. Kallas stressed that supporting President Trump’s push for negotiations was not enough. Kallas reaffirmed that the only way to force a ceasefire was to cut off Russian resources, insisting on coordination with the U.S. and continued robust support for Ukraine.
