China’s electric vehicle giant BYD has announced its largest safety recall to date, affecting more than 115,000 cars. The recall includes 44,535 units of the BYD Tang plug-in hybrid SUV (2015–2017) and 71,248 Yuan Pro electric SUVs (2021–2022). Issued by China’s State Administration for Market Regulation, this recall highlights key safety concerns in these popular models.
