दिवाली की ज़बरदस्त आतिशबाजी और मौसम संबंधी कारकों के कारण राष्ट्रीय राजधानी दिल्ली में वायु गुणवत्ता काफ़ी बिगड़ गई है। सोमवार शाम को दिल्ली के कुछ इलाकों में वायु गुणवत्ता सूचकांक (AQI) 400 को पार कर गया। दिल्ली के 38 निगरानी केंद्रों में से 34 “रेड ज़ोन” में दर्ज किए गए। “रेड ज़ोन” में प्रदूषण का स्तर वायु गुणवत्ता को “बेहद खराब” से “गंभीर” श्रेणी में दर्शाता है।
The air quality in the national capital, Delhi, has deteriorated significantly due to the heavy Diwali fireworks display and meteorological factors. The Air Quality Index (AQI) crossed 400 in some areas of Delhi on Monday evening. Thirty-four of Delhi’s 38 monitoring stations were recorded in the “red zone.” Pollution levels in the “red zone” indicate air quality in the “very poor” to “severe” category.
