JSW Energy Q2 Earnings | Mahanadi Plant Boosts Revenue | Operational Efficiency Drives Growth　 #ETNOW

JSW Energy reported a strong Q2 performance with EBITDA up ~58% YoY, driven by operational efficiencies, Mahanadi plant, KSK Mahanadi and O2 Power acquisitions, Ind Bharat commissioning, and new wind capacities. Plant availability for Mahanadi exceeded 97.5%, with PLF at 76%. Despite a 17% dip in net profit due to higher interest and depreciation from asset expansion, cash profit grew 27%, reflecting robust operational performance. FY26 outlook remains strong with 15 GW capacity expected by year-end, thermal and solar driving H2 growth. Pune 5 GW battery energy storage plant is on track for December. U.S. solar tariffs pose minimal risk, with domestic solar module availability positive for the sector.
