AerCap CEO Aengus Kelly told CNBC on Friday that he is seeing more airlines buying used planes, as they are able to spend more time in the air before needing maintenance. He said while newer, more advanced engines are more efficient, they are much more fragile, which is a problem engine manufacturers are spending billions to solve.
