Maple syrup producers “concerned” amid drought conditions in Atlantic Canada
Atlantic Canada has experienced an unusually dry summer and fall, leaving farmers in the region feeling the effects.
Maple syrup producers are now anxiously awaiting the winter season and are expecting a difficult spring.
“I’m quite concerned on the amount of sap and the sugar content that we’ll have,” said Paul Reynolds from Little Mactaquac Maples.
