पाकिस्तान ने बहुत जोर देकर अफगानिस्तान से सीजफायर अपील की थी, जिसे अफगानिस्तान ने मंजूर कर लिया है. अफगानिस्तान की तालिबान सरकार के प्रवक्ता ज़बीउल्लाह मुजाहिद ने बकायदा यही बयान देकर सीजफायर का एलान किया है, जो आज शाम 5.30 बजे से लागू हो गया. लेकिन इस शर्त के साथ के अगर पाकिस्तान ने कोई हरकत की तो सीजफायर खत्म माना जाएगा. जनरल मुनीर को सरेंडर करने में 16 घंटे भी नहीं लगे. कल देर रात से अफगानिस्तान ने अटैक का जो दूसरा राउंड शुरू किया तो पाकिस्तान के कई किलोमीटर अंदर तक दर्जनों इलाके धुआं धुआं हो गए. जनरल मुनीर और उसकी फौज का तालिबान ने क्या हाल किया, देखिए इस रिपोर्ट में

Zabiullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Taliban government in Afghanistan, issued a formal statement announcing the ceasefire, which came into effect at 5:30 pm today.
