Afghan FM: Fighting With Pakistan Halted After Saudi & Qatar Intervention | LIVE Update
On October 11–12, 2025, heavy clashes erupted along the Afghanistan‑Pakistan border.
Afghanistan claimed that the violence was in retaliation for Pakistani airstrikes that violated Afghan territory (including Kabul and border‑adjacent provinces) and struck civilian areas.
Pakistan, in turn, accused the Afghan Taliban of harboring militants who carried out attacks inside Pakistan, including the Tehreek‑i‑Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Islamabad alleged that militant camps in Afghanistan were used as staging grounds.
The border crossings at Torkham, Chaman, and several minor posts were shut down by Pakistan following the exchanges of fire.
