जिले में अपराध और वाहन चोरी की घटनाओं पर लगाम लगाने के लिए चलाए जा रहे विशेष अभियान के तहत वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक सौरभ दीक्षित के निर्देशन में थाना उत्तर पुलिस और एसओजी टीम को बड़ी सफलता मिली है। गुरुवार को पुलिस ने शातिर वाहन चोर और हिस्ट्रीशीटर अनूप पुत्र विद्याराम, निवासी कंजाहार, थाना दन्नाहार, जनपद मैनपुरी को मुठभेड़ के बाद गिरफ्तार किया। मुठभेड़ बेंदी की पुलिया के पास हुई, जहां आत्मरक्षा में पुलिस द्वारा की गई कार्रवाई में आरोपी के पैर में गोली लग गई। घायल आरोपी को तुरंत जिला अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है।

The encounter took place near Bendi culvert, where the accused was shot in the leg in self-defense action by the police. The injured accused has been immediately admitted to the district hospital.
