US shutdown enters second week as Senate again rejects rival funding bills • FRANCE 24 English
The government shutdown stalemate continues into a new week with no clear resolution, as both parties blame each other for the funding lapse. On Monday, two competing Senate measures to fund the government and end the shutdown failed for the fifth time.
