North Korean leader Kim Jong Un held talks with Laotian President Thongloun Sisoulith in Pyongyang on October 7. Kim personally came out to greet Thongloun in a welcome ceremony that included top officials. Sisoulith said that Laos is ‘always a close friend’ of North Korea and will “continue to develop the relations of friendship and cooperation.”
