डीटीसी ने यात्रियों, विशेष रूप से महिलाओं की सुरक्षा में लगे 467 बस मार्शलों को सेवा से हटा दिया है. ये फैसला एक आंतरिक जांच के बाद लिया गया, जिसमें कई गंभीर गड़बड़ियां सामने आईं है. डीटीसी के डिप्टी सीजीएम (पीआर) अमन देव छिकारा ने बताया कि जांच के दौरान पाया गया कि करीब 90 बस मार्शलों का आपराधिक रिकॉर्ड है, जबकि 374 मार्शलों के दस्तावेजों में या तो गलत जानकारी दी गई थी या उनके पहचान पत्र फर्जी थे. जांच के बाद इन सभी को सेवा से हटाकर उनके मूल विभाग निदेशालय, होम गार्ड में वापस भेज दिया गया है.

The DTC has removed 467 bus marshals, who were responsible for protecting passengers, especially women, from service. This decision was taken after an internal investigation revealed several serious irregularities. DTC Deputy General Manager (PR) Aman Dev Chhikara stated that the investigation found that approximately 90 bus marshals had criminal records, while 374 marshals had either provided false information in their documents or had fake identity cards. Following the investigation, all of them have been removed from service and returned to their parent department, the Directorate of Home Guards.
