Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Adani-led Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) on October 8, marking India’s rise as a global aviation hub. Developed through a partnership between Adani Airport Holdings and CIDCO, NMIA features a lotus-inspired sustainable design and will initially handle 20 million passengers annually. The milestone comes as India strengthens its international aviation influence with a successful re-election to the ICAO Council, securing more votes than in 2022.
