अरब सागर से उठे चक्रवाती तूफान ‘शक्ति’ ने अपना रूप बदल लिया है। IMD के मुताबिक, यह अब एक गंभीर चक्रवाती तूफान में तब्दील हो चुका है और पश्चिम की ओर बढ़ रहा है। इसका सबसे बड़ा असर महाराष्ट्र के रायगढ़, रत्नागिरी और सिंधुदुर्ग जिलों में दिखने की संभावना जताई जा रहा है, जहां 7 अक्तूबर तक भारी बारिश हो सकती है और कई जगहों पर 45 से 55 किलोमीटर per hour की speed वाली हवाएं चल सकती हैं, जो बढ़कर 65 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटा तक पहुंच सकती हैं। विदर्भ और मराठवाड़ा के भी कुछ हिस्सों में भारी से बहुत भारी बारिश की चेतावनी दी गई है, जबकि उत्तर कोंकण के निचले इलाके बाढ़ के ख़तरे में बताए जा रहे हैं। इसी बीच, 5 अक्तूबर तक उत्तरी महाराष्ट्र तट पर समुद्र में उथल-पुथल बनी रहेगी। स्थिति की गंभीरता को देखते हुए, राज्य सरकार ने NDRF और SDRF की टीमों को अलर्ट पर रखा है। जरूरत पड़ने पर स्कूल और कॉलेज बंद रखने के भी आदेश दिए गए हैं। साथ ही आपको बता दें कि चक्रवात की अभी की स्थिति बहुत ज्यादा गंभीर है फिलहाल यह चक्रवाती तूफान गुजरात के द्वारका से करीब 420 किलोमीटर पश्चिम, नलिया से 470 किलोमीटर पश्चिम-दक्षिण-पश्चिम, पाकिस्तान के कराची से 420 किलोमीटर दक्षिण-पश्चिम और ओमान के मसिराह से लगभग 600 किलोमीटर पूर्व-उत्तर-पूर्व में केंद्रित है। तो वहीं आईएमडी का अनुमान है कि यह चक्रवात रविवार तक उत्तर-पश्चिम और पश्चिम-मध्य अरब सागर तक पहुंचेगा। सोमवार सुबह से इसके धीरे-धीरे पूर्व-उत्तर-पूर्व की तरफ मुड़कर कमजोर होने की संभावना जताई गई है। हालांकि, इस दौरान समुद्र की स्थिति बेहद खराब रहेगी और गुजरात, उत्तरी महाराष्ट्र और पाकिस्तान के पास के इलाकों पर भी असर देखने को मिलेगा। हालांकि आपको बता दें कि गुजरात में भी भारी बारिश का अलर्ट जताया गया है…8 अक्तूबर को गुजरात के छह जिलें जिनमें द्वारका, जामनगर, पोरबंदर, सूरत, नवसारी और वलसाड शामिल हैं वहां मध्यम से भारी बारिश हो सकती है। मछुआरों को अगले पांच दिन तक समुद्र में न जाने की सलाह दी गई है।

The International Meteorological Department (IMD) estimates that the cyclone will reach the northwest and west-central Arabian Sea by Sunday. It is expected to gradually turn east-northeastward and weaken by Monday morning. However, sea conditions will remain extremely rough during this period, affecting Gujarat, northern Maharashtra, and areas near Pakistan. However, a heavy rainfall alert has also been issued for Gujarat. On October 8, six districts of Gujarat, including Dwarka, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Surat, Navsari, and Valsad, are expected to experience moderate to heavy rainfall. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea for the next five days.
