Israel intensifies Gaza bombardment for a second day despite US pressure to stop
For a second day, Israel is launching more strikes on the Strip – defying demands from the US to stop attacks.
A large plume of smoke could be seen from the Israeli border, after an attack in northern Gaza on Sunday morning.
At least 61 Palestinians were killed in attacks across the Strip on Saturday.
