Netanyahu likely to accept Trump’s peace plan, but implementation remains uncertain: Analysis
The White House says it’s very close to reaching a deal on a Gaza ceasefire, that’s according to the Reuters News Agency.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt has told US media that Israel and Hamas are “very close” to reaching agreement on a framework deal to end the war on Gaza.
Trump has been hinting at a possible deal in the past few days.
He has been pushing a 21-point plan to end the conflict.
It is not the first time US President has touted an imminent deal.
In June the President said a deal could be possible “within the next week”.
While Netanyahu will likely accept Trump’s plan later today, it is not guaranteed that he will implement it, says Gideon Levy, an Israeli political analyst and columnist.
