पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ ‘एशिया कप 2025’ में खिताबी जीत के बाद भारतीय टीम ने एशियन क्रिकेट परिषद (एसीसी) के अध्यक्ष मोहसिन नकवी के हाथों ट्रॉफी लेने से इनकार कर दिया. इसके बाद भारतीय टीम को किसी अन्य ऑफिशियल से भी ट्रॉफी नहीं लेने दी गई, जिसके चलते भारतीय खिलाड़ियों ने बिना ट्रॉफी के ही सेलिब्रेट किया. भारतीय कप्तान सूर्यकुमार यादव इससे खफा नजर आए.

Following their Asia Cup 2025 title win against Pakistan, the Indian team refused to accept the trophy from Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President Mohsin Naqvi. Subsequently, the Indian team was not allowed to accept the trophy from any other official, leading the Indian players to celebrate without the trophy. Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav appeared upset by this.
