EU Laying Mines, Making Trenches At Russia Border: Putin Ally Exposes NATO Invasion Plan?|Belarus,UN
Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov, addressing the 80th UN General Assembly, accused the European Union and NATO of adopting an alarming “invasion mentality” by laying mines, building trenches, and constructing defensive barriers along the eastern border with Belarus and Russia. Framing these preparations as evidence of an intended escalation against Russia, Ryzhenkov argued that the West was reviving militaristic Cold War logic instead of supporting real European security. He warned that such moves stoke regional tensions, undermine pan-European stability, and threaten to turn the EU’s border into a new Iron Curtain.
