Arab Nation Betrays Palestine? US Ally Condemns Hamas At UNGA; Scared By Israel’s Qatar Strike?| UAE
At the 80th UN General Assembly, the UAE’s Minister of State Lana Nusseibeh issued a message that many interpreted as a significant pivot away from unqualified support for the Palestinian cause. While condemning Israel’s military actions in Gaza and warning that annexation of the West Bank would be a “red line,” Nusseibeh also directly criticized Hamas, denouncing the taking of hostages and stressing that a future Palestinian state must be free of terrorist and extremist groups, with strict controls on weapons.
