​अभिनेता से राजनेता बने टीवीके प्रमुख विजय की करूर रैली में शनिवार शाम को भगदड़ मच गई. अब तक 38 लोगों की मौत की पुष्टि हो चुकी है. मृतकों की संख्या में इजाफा हो सकता है. बड़ी संख्या में लोग घायल भी हुए हैं, जिनका स्थानीय अस्पतालों में इलाज चल रहा है.

A stampede broke out at the Karur rally of actor-turned-politician TVK chief Vijay on Saturday evening. Thirty-eight people have been confirmed dead so far, and the death toll is expected to rise. A large number of people were also injured and are being treated in local hospitals.

लद्दाख में स्टेटहुड और संवैधानिक सुरक्षा को लेकर हुए हिंसक विरोध प्रदर्शन के बाद गिरफ्तार हुए सोनम वांगचुक को शुक्रवार को जोधपुर जेल शिफ्ट किया गया है. इस हिंसक प्रदर्शन के दौरान चार लोगों की मौत और 90 लोग घायल हुए थे.

At least 38 people, including children, have died in a stampede during actor Vijay’s rally in Karur, Tamil Nadu, as of this writing. The death toll is expected to rise. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the incident and expressed condolences to the affected families and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
