उत्तर प्रदेश के बरेली शहर में ‘आई लव मुहम्मद’ लिखे साइनबोर्ड को लेकर शुरू हुआ विवाद शुक्रवार को हिंसक झड़पों में बदल गया। इत्तेहाद-ए-मिल्लत काउंसिल यानी आईएमसी के प्रमुख मौलाना तौकीर रजा खान के आवास के बाहर भारी हंगामा हुआ। पथराव और गाड़ियों में तोड़फोड़ की भी ख़बरें हैं। पुलिस को स्थिति नियंत्रित करने के लिए लाठीचार्ज करना पड़ा। इस घटना ने पूरे क्षेत्र में तनाव बढ़ा दिया है और भारी पुलिस बल तैनात किया गया है।

A dispute over a signboard reading “I Love Muhammad” escalated into violent clashes in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, on Friday. A massive uproar erupted outside the residence of Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan, head of the Ittehad-e-Millat Council (IMC). Stone-pelting and vehicle vandalism were also reported. Police resorted to lathi-charge to control the situation. The incident has heightened tensions in the area, and a heavy police presence has been deployed.
