महागठबंधन ने पटना में अतिपछड़ा न्याय सम्मेलन किया. कांग्रेस-RJD ने Extreme Backward Caste के लिए न्याय संकल्प पत्र जारी किया. इस संकल्प पत्र में वादा किया है कि अगर महागठबंध की सरकार बनी तो ‘अतिपिछड़ा अत्याचार निवारण अधिनियम’ पारित किया जाएगा. अति पिछड़ों के लिए पंचायत और नगर निकाय में आरक्षण मौजूदा 20 परसेंट से बढ़ाकर 30 परसेंट किया जाए. आबादी के अनुपात में आरक्षण की 50 प्रतिशत की सीमा को बढ़ाने और इसे संविधान की नौवीं अनुसूची मे शामिल करने के लिए केंद्र सरकार को प्रस्ताव भेजा जाएगा.

The Grand Alliance held a conference on justice for the Extremely Backward Castes in Patna. The Congress-RJD released a resolution for justice for the Extremely Backward Castes. This resolution promises that if the Grand Alliance forms the government, the “Prevention of Atrocities against the Extremely Backward Castes Act” will be passed. Reservation for the Extremely Backward Castes in Panchayat and Municipal bodies should be increased from the current 20 percent to 30 percent. A proposal will be sent to the central government to increase the 50 percent reservation limit in proportion to the population and include it in the Ninth Schedule of the Constitution.
