Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenksy addresses the United Nations General Assembly on Day 2 of the 80th UNGA high-level debate, in New York City on September 24. Zelensky’s address comes a day after US President Donald Trump’s address at the UNGA, in which he further pushed for a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine. Later that day, in a setback for his ally Russian President Vladimir Putin, Trump also asked the NATO countries to “shoot down” any Russian jets found “violating their airspace”.
