23 महीने बाद आज समाजवादी पार्टी के नेता आज़म खान जमानत पर जेल से बाहर आ गए. सीतापुर जेल से रिहा होने के बाद आज़म खान रामपुर पहुंच गए हैं. रास्ते में समाजवादी पार्टी के कार्यकर्ताओं और नेताओं ने उनका जगह-जगह स्वागत किया. आजम शाहजहांपुर से बरेली होते हुए रामपुर पहुंचे. पूरे रास्ते आज़म खान ने ज्यादा बात नहीं की. लेकिन रामपुर के बॉर्डर पहुंचते ही आज़म खान ने अपने पुराने तेवर फिर दिखा दिए. असल में रामपुर पुलिस ने शहर में घुसने से पहले आजम खान के साथ चल रही उनके सपोर्टर्स की दर्जनों गाडियों को रोक दिया. उन्हें रामपुर में घुसने की इजाजत नहीं दी गई, सड़क पर जाम लगाया. आजम खान पुलिस अफसरों से उलझ गए.
After 23 months, Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan was released from jail on bail today. Following his release from Sitapur jail, Azam Khan has reached Rampur. Along the way, Samajwadi Party workers and leaders welcomed him at various points. He traveled from Shahjahanpur to Rampur via Bareilly. During the journey, Azam Khan didn’t speak much. However, as he approached the Rampur city limits, he reverted to his old combative style. The Rampur police stopped dozens of vehicles carrying his supporters before they could enter the city. They were not allowed to enter Rampur, causing a traffic jam. Azam Khan then got into an argument with the police officers.
