Leaked audio hears Canada’s public safety minister questioning gun buyback program
Canada’s Public Safety Minister Gary Anandasangaree found himself defending his government’s gun buyback program after he appeared to criticize it in a recording made on Sunday.
Anandasangaree did not know he was being recorded when he said that if he had the chance, he would not have proceeded with the federal program aimed at buying assault rifles and other weapons from gun owners.
