On Day 1 of Navratri, Tata Motors recorded 10,000 deliveries and 25,000+ enquiries, Hyundai achieved 11,000 dealer billings (highest in 5 years), and Maruti Suzuki registered 80,000 enquiries with 25,000 deliveries. The GST rate cuts reduced small car taxes from 28% to 18%, two-wheeler GST from 28% to 18%, and tractors to just 5%, making vehicle ownership more affordable. Even the pre-owned car market surged, with CARS24 reporting a 400% jump in deliveries. Industry experts believe the combination of lower prices, GST reforms, and festive sentiment will keep demand strong throughout Navratri and Diwali. This festive boom highlights how GST 2.0 has made cars cheaper and improved customer confidence in India’s auto sector.

भारतीय ऑटोमोबाइल सेक्टर ने इस नवरात्रि रिकॉर्डतोड़ शुरुआत की है. GST 2.0 के लागू होते ही कारों की कीमतें घट गईं और ग्राहकों की भीड़ शोरूम तक पहुंची. Tata Motors ने पहले दिन ही 10,000 गाड़ियां डिलीवर कीं और 25,000 से ज्यादा enquiries दर्ज कीं. Hyundai ने 11,000 डीलर बिलिंग्स कीं, जो पिछले 5 साल का रिकॉर्ड है. Maruti Suzuki ने 80,000 enquiries और 25,000 डिलीवरीज़ कीं. छोटे कारों पर GST 28% से घटाकर 18% कर दिया गया, टू-व्हीलर्स पर भी टैक्स 18% हो गया और ट्रैक्टरों पर सिर्फ 5%. इससे वाहन खरीदना और सस्ता हो गया. इस्तेमाल की गई गाड़ियों के बाजार (used cars) में भी उछाल आया, जहां CARS24 ने 400% तक डिलीवरी बढ़ने की जानकारी दी. एक्सपर्ट्स का कहना है कि GST 2.0 और त्योहारों का कॉम्बिनेशन आने वाले हफ्तों तक ऑटो सेक्टर की डिमांड को ऊंचा रखेगा.
