“Visa fee could adversely affect Indian youth” AIMIM’s Owaisi raises concern over H-1B visa fee hike
Speaking on H-1B visa fee raised by US, Hyderabad MP and AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi said, “71% of the Indians are H1B visa holders and a large share of them are from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. India receives around $125 billion in remittances, a large part of which comes from H-1B visa holders. The increased visa fee could adversely affect Indian youth who work hard to secure positions in major institutions.”
