Ashwini Vaishnaw hits back at Kharge’s ‘band-aid’ jibe on GST, cites UPA’s era of ‘tax terror’
GST reforms, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said, “…Our opposition partners are not happy with these savings and reforms. During their rule, no work was done, let alone reforms… UPA taxed cement at 30% and now it is at 18%… Sanitary pads were taxed by UPA at 13% and now they have zero tax… The tax on coffee has been reduced from 30% to 5%…”
