Trump ignores UN report on Gaza, calls October 7 attack ‘genocide at the highest level’
U.S. President Donald J. Trump said on Sept 19 that he had not yet reviewed a United Nations panel’s findings that Israel had committed genocide in Gaza, saying in response that October 7th – when Hamas attacked Israel – was genocide. Earlier this week, a United Nations Commission of Inquiry concluded that Israel has committed genocide in Gaza. Israel dismissed the findings as biased and based on unverified evidence.
