Delhi Accident: राजधानी दिल्ली में आर के आश्रम मेट्रो स्टेशन के पास एक हादसा हुआ. एक PCR वैन ने चाय बेचने वाले गंगाराम तिवारी को कुचल दिया, जिससे उनकी मौके पर ही मौत हो गई. चश्मदीदों का आरोप है कि PCR वैन चला रहे पुलिसकर्मी शराब के नशे में धुत थे. उन्होंने बताया कि पुलिस बूथ में शराब की बोतलें पड़ी हुई मिलीं. एक चश्मदीद ने कहा, “नशे में था, पुलिस वाला नशे में था। गाड़ी में दारू की बोतल निकली हुई है।” चश्मदीदों ने यह भी बताया कि उन्होंने पुलिसकर्मियों को कमरे में बंद कर दिया था ताकि जनता के गुस्से से उनकी सुरक्षा की जा सके. हालांकि, पुलिस का कहना है कि यह हादसा एस्कलेटर ब्रेक की जगह कुछ और दबाने से हुआ. यह घटना सुबह 5:05 बजे हुई.

Eyewitnesses allege that the policeman driving the PCR van was drunk. They reported finding liquor bottles lying in the police booth. One eyewitness said, “He was drunk, the policeman was drunk. There are liquor bottles lying around in the vehicle.” Eyewitnesses also said that they had locked the policemen in a room to protect them from public anger. However, the police claim that the accident occurred when something other than the escalator brake was pressed. The incident occurred at 5:05 am.
