Israel will create arms industry that can “withstand international constraints”: Netanyahu
Benjamin Netanyahu has pledged to create an independent arms industry in Israel that “can withstand international constraints.”
Netanyahu made the comments during an address to investors in Jerusalem on Tuesday.
“What we are going to do is build an arms industry that will match the best arms industries in the world with one proviso, we want to produce first for ourselves on a much larger scale and with unimaginable innovation,” he added.
Netanyahu’s comments come as 69 Palestinians were killed in the latest round of Israeli airstrikes that have pounded Gaza City.
