आज यूपी के गोरखपुर में जमकर हंगामा हुआ. गौतस्करों ने एक नौजवान की हत्या कर दी. इसके बाद पब्लिक भड़क गई. हालात को काबू करने में पुलिस प्रशासन के पसीने छूट गए. नाराज़ लोगों ने पुलिस पर पत्थर चलाए. गोरखपुर-पिपराइच रोड को जाम कर दिया. कई घंटों तक इस इलाके में नारेबाजी चलती रही. करीब 5 घंटे तक समझाने बुझाने के बाद इस रास्ते को खोला जा सका. असल में कल रात कुछ गौतस्कर दो पिकअप वैन लेकर गांव में पहुंचे. अंधेरे में गायों की पिकअप वैन में लादने की कोशिश की. गांव वालों को भनक लग गई. शोर मचा तो गौतस्कर भागने लगे. लेकिन उनकी एक गाड़ी कीचड़ में फंस गई. एक गौतस्कर गांव वालों के हत्थे चढ़ गया. उसके बाकी साथी दूसरी गाड़ी से भागने लगे. 19 साल के दीपक गुप्ता ने गौतस्करों की गाड़ी का पीछा किया. कुछ दूरी पर अपराधियों ने अचानक गाड़ी रोक कर दीपक को गाड़ी में खींच लिया और उसकी हत्या कर दी.

When there was a noise, the cow smugglers started running away. But one of their vehicles got stuck in the mud. One cow smuggler was caught by the villagers. His other companions started running away in another vehicle. 19-year-old Deepak Gupta chased the cow smugglers’ vehicle. At some distance, the criminals suddenly stopped the vehicle, pulled Deepak into the vehicle and killed him.
