Grief grips Kathmandu as several dead, Aunt mourns 23-year-old killed in Nepal unrest
Grieving relatives stood outside the mortuary of Kathmandu’s Teaching Hospital on Friday (September 12) as authorities began handing over the bodies of their loved ones killed in Nepal’s worst violence in years. Karuna Budhathoki, whose 23-year-old nephew Yogendra Neopani was among the 51 people killed in the violence on Monday and Tuesday, said her sister had asked for Neopani’s body to be brought home as she wanted to see her son’s face before his last rites.
