Due to the continuous closure of the National Highway for heavy vehicles, the horticulture industry of Kashmir has suffered losses worth crores, in view of which the daily parcel train service for apple growers was already suspended. This service was officially announced with two parcel coaches on a trial basis and from the 15th, a similar 8-coach parcel train will run daily from Kashmir to Delhi.
