Owners vow to fight on as West Vancouver council orders illegally-built home demolished
The owners of an illegally-built West Vancouver apparently second dwelling that was constructed next to their home say they will continue to fight orders to demolish it, even after city council upheld the order.
In July, the district of West Vancouver ordered the building be demolished after determining it was built without permits or inspections. The builder claims he was hired to construct a gazebo but walked away after it was 30 per cent complete because no permits were obtained.
