Nepal Unrest update | Army Patrols Kathmandu Streets | Indian Tourists stranded in Nepal
Nepal Army conduct patrolling in the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu, which witnessed violence from the past two days as the protest turned violent. Nepali PM KP Sharma Oli resigned yesterday amid demonstrations against the Government over alleged corruption.
Mayur Patil, an Indian national from Mumbai and stranded in Nepal, says, “We had come for the darshan of Lord Pashupatinath and to visit places in Nepal…We reached here on 8th September. We visited Pashupatinath Temple but now we are stranded following the protests. We called up the Indian Embassy and they told us to stay put in a safe place wherever we are. They will tell us about what is to be done next. We had a tour plan for 8 days…We are a group of 15 people…”
