During a Senate Banking Committee executive session on Wednesday, Sen. Jack Reed (D-NJ) alleged President Trump’s nominee to the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, Stephen Miran, “refused” a share legal opinion to the Senate which allows him to maintain his job as Chairman of Council of Economic Advisers while serving on the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.
