Due to the continuously rising water level in the Yamuna river, the threat of flood has increased in many areas of Delhi-NCR. In view of safety, an order has been issued to keep schools up to class 12 closed in Noida and Ghaziabad on Wednesday. Also, from a security point of view, the old iron bridge has been completely closed for traffic and movement of the general public from 4 pm on Tuesday till further orders. Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory in this regard and advised the commuters to take alternative routes.
