श्रीनगर में ईद-ए-मिलाद के मौके पर हजरतबल दरगाह में बड़ा बवाल हो गया. दरगाह के रेनोवेशन के बाद लगाए गए संगमरमर पर विवाद खड़ा हो गय. लोगों का आरोप था कि मस्जिद के अंदर मूर्ति जैसी चीज लगाई गई है, जो इस्लाम केखिलाफ है. गुस्साए लोगों ने अशोक चिह्न लगी पट्टिका तोड़ दी. यह संगमरमर दो दिन पहले वक्फ बोर्ड की अध्यक्ष डॉ. दरख्शां अंद्राबी ने उद्घाटन के दौरान लगाया था.

There was a big uproar at the Hazratbal Dargah on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad in Srinagar. A controversy arose over the marble installed after the renovation of the Dargah. People alleged that an idol-like thing has been installed inside the mosque, which is against Islam. Angry people broke the plaque bearing the Ashoka symbol. This marble was installed two days ago by the Waqf Board Chairperson Dr. Darakshan Andrabi during the inauguration.
