Former Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan leaves ED office after being summoned over online betting app case
Enforcement Directorate (ED) started questioning former Indian Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan in its money laundering probe against 1xBet betting platform. ED summoned cricketer Shikhar Dhawan to record his statement against his alleged links with 1xBet betting platform. Earlier, ED had also questioned former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina to find out his alleged links to the app through promotions and endorsements. ED’s broader investigation targets various celebrities who may have promoted these platforms, and suspected of alleged tax evasion and duping investors.
