“States Ko Nuksaan Hoga…”, Know why AIMIM’s Owaisi don’t welcome GST reform by Modi Govt
AIMIM Chief and Lok Sabha MP, Asaduddin Owaisi refused to welcome the GST reform by the Modi Government citing that state governments will be hit disproportionately. He argued that revenue for states will witness a sharp decrease, however the effect on the Center will not be that much visible. He also demanded to include states in revenue from Cess.
