हथिनीकुंड बैराज से यमुना नदी में छोड़ा गया पानी आफत बन गया है। तटवर्ती इलाकों में बनीं कॉलोनियां और गांव दरिया बन चुके हैं। इन बाढ़ प्रभावित क्षेत्रों से लोगों को बाहर निकाला जा रहा है। प्रशासन ने 3 राहत शिविर बनाए हैं। जहां करीब 2 हजार लोगों को रखा गया है। टीमें लगातार बाढ़ प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में गश्त कर रही हैं। बाढ़ प्रभावित क्षेत्रों का खाली कराया जा रहा है। नगर निगम और प्रशासन के अधिकारी खुद स्टीमर में बैठकर लोगों को आगाह कर रहे हैं। आगामी 24 घंटे तटवर्ती इलाकों के लिए खतरे का सबब बन सकते हैं। इसके अलावा कुछ इलाकों में रह रहे करीब 1500 लोगों की जिंदगियां खतरे में फंसी हैं।
