देश में टैक्स सिस्टम को और आसान बनाने के लिए जीएसटी काउंसिल ने बड़ा फैसला लिया है. अब जीएसटी में चार की जगह सिर्फ दो स्लैब होंगे. वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण की अध्यक्षता में हुई जीएसटी काउंसिल की 56वीं बैठक में बुधवार देर शाम यह अहम फैसला लिया गया. अब जीएसटी के सिर्फ दो स्लैब – 5% और 18% ही रहेंगे. पुरानी 12% और 28% वाली स्लैब को पूरी तरह हटा दिया गया है.

To make the tax system in the country easier, the GST Council has taken a big decision. Now GST will have only two slabs instead of four. This important decision was taken late Wednesday evening in the 56th meeting of the GST Council chaired by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Now GST will have only two slabs – 5% and 18%. The old 12% and 28% slabs have been completely removed.
