In some tragic news from Pakistan, triple bomb attacks killed at least 25 people and injured several others. The most deadly attack took place in the southwestern province of Balochistan, where a suicide bomber targeted a political rally in Quetta. The attack killed 14 people and wounded dozens of others. According to provincial officials, hundreds of Balochistan National Party (BNP) members had gathered when the blast occurred. In another attack, five paramilitary personnel were killed in Balochistan while four others were injured in a district near the Iranian border. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a suicide bomber rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into the gate of a camp in Bannu, said government officials. Five suicide attackers then entered the premises and started firing. Six soldiers were killed in the attack.
