China’s DF-5C shocks the World:20,000km range Nuclear Missile with Global strike capability revealed
China debuted its DF-5C strategic nuclear missile at the V-Day parade marking WWII victory anniversaries. The DF-5C is a liquid-fueled ICBM with a reported range exceeding 20,000 km, reaching any global target. The missile is on constant alert, aiming to deter war and maintain global stability through credible force. Professor Yang said, the DF-5C has six major advancements over previous DF-series missiles. The DF-5C features a new 3-section transport system, reducing launch prep time and improving response. Its estimated range covers the entire planet, enabling strikes on any threat to China’s security. With hypersonic speeds reaching tens of Mach, it leaves minimal time for interception. DF-5C can carry multiple MIRVs, each with nuclear, conventional, or decoy warheads. MIRVs make interception harder by overwhelming defense systems with multiple warheads or decoys. Even at 20,000 km, DF-5C reportedly hits with accuracy close to mid-range DF-series missiles. China pledges not to use or threaten nuclear weapons against non-nuclear states or zones.
