मराठा समुदाय के लिए आरक्षण की मांग को लेकर आंदोलन कर रहे मनोज जारांगे पाटिल ने अपना अनशन खत्म कर दिया है. मुंबई के आजाद मैदान में धरने पर बैठे पाटिल ने मराठा आंदोलनकारियों से अपने घरों को वापस लौटने की अपील भी की है. जारांगे की इस घोषणा के पीछे बॉम्बे हाईकोर्ट का सख्त रुख माना जा रहा है.

Manoj Jarange Patil, who was leading the agitation demanding reservation for the Maratha community, has ended his fast. Patil, who was sitting on a dharna at Azad Maidan in Mumbai, has also appealed to the Maratha agitators to return to their homes. The strict stand of Bombay High Court is believed to be behind this announcement of Jarange.

दिल्ली पर एक बार फिर बाढ़ का खतरा मंडरा रहा है. यमुना अपने रौद्र रूप में हैं, जिसकी वजह से लोगों में खौफ का माहौल है. खतरे को पहले से भांप कर प्रशासन ने अलर्ट जारी कर दिया है. यमुना बाजार इलाके में कई घरों के निचले हिस्से डूब चुके हैं और सड़कें पूरी तरह जलमग्न नज़र आ रही हैं. प्रशासन ने सोमवार शाम 5 बजे पुराना यमुना पुल बंद कर दिया था.
