पिछले तीस दिनों में जम्मू-कश्मीर और लद्दाख में 25 बादल फटने और 9 भूस्खलन की घटनाएँ हुईं, जिनमें 122 लोगों की मौत हो गई और लगभग 100 लोग अभी भी लापता हैं। धरती के बढ़ता तापमान ने हिमालय के व्यवहार को बदल दिया है। विशेषज्ञों का कहना है कि अगर जल्द ही कदम नहीं उठाए गए, तो आने वाले समय में और भी भयानक आपदाएँ आ सकती हैं।bइस साल जम्मू-कश्मीर और लद्दाख में मानसून विकराल रूप में आया, भारी बारिश और बादल फटने की घटनाओं ने पिछले सभी रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिए और आईएमडी का कहना है कि अगले एक हफ्ते तक और भी आपदाएँ आएंगी। शुक्रवार देर रात रामबन के राजगढ़ गाँव में बादल फटने से चार लोगों की मौत हो गई और एक व्यक्ति लापता है। पिछले एक महीने में यह 25वीं बादल फटने की घटना है। जम्मू-कश्मीर और लद्दाख में बादल फटने के अलावा 9 भूस्खलन की घटनाएँ भी हुईं, इस सब में लगभग 122 लोग मारे गए, 350 से ज़्यादा घायल हुए और लगभग 100 लोग अभी भी लापता बताए जा रहे हैं। संपत्ति का नुकसान करोड़ों में आंका गया है।

Four people died and one person is missing due to cloudburst in Rajgarh village of Ramban late Friday night. This is the 25th cloudburst incident in the last one month. Apart from cloudburst, 9 landslides also occurred in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, in all this about 122 people were killed, more than 350 were injured and about 100 people are still reported missing. The loss of property is estimated to be in crores.
