This incident happened in Mopata of Tehsil Dewal, in which two people are reported missing. The administration has started relief and rescue work. At the same time, the situation in Chenagad area has become serious due to the bridge being washed away in Lawara village of Kedarghati. Apart from this, Alaknanda and Mandakini are also in spate in Rudraprayag district, their water is entering the houses and causing havoc.

उत्तराखंड में तबाही का दौर खत्म होने का नाम नहीं ले रहा है. चमोली जिले में एक बार फिर बादल फटा है. ये घटना तहसील देवाल के मोपाटा में हुई है, जिसमें दो लोगों के लापता होने की खबर है. प्रशासन ने राहत-बचाव कार्य शुरू कर दिया है. वहीं केदारघाटी के लवारा गांव में पुल बहने से छेनागाड़ क्षेत्र में स्थिति गंभीर हो गई है. इसके अलावा रुद्रप्रयाग जिले में अलकनंदा और मंदाकिनी भी उफान पर हैं, इनका पानी घरों में घुस कर तबाही मचा रहा है.
